What is 404 web Page Error ?
Usually, when someone requests a page that doesn’t exist, a server will return a 404 (not found) error. This HTTP response code clearly tells both browsers and search engines that the page doesn’t exist. As a result, the content of the page (if any) won’t be crawled or indexed by search engines.
For SEO purpose it,s also important for your site have custome 404 web page.
Today i am going to show you How To Create A Custom WordPress 404 Page ?
Go to the Add new Plugins section and search for Custom 404 and Install the “Custom 404 Error page: Unlimited designs and colors ” and install it.
after installation it will show you TG icon
Now you need to be configure it. In Background decoration settings choose your Background color, Background pattern and custom bottom image.
now in the Title Content menu enter your title that appear on the error page. In the categorizes menu choose the categories that you want to show in error page.
then save your settings.
Enjoy your custom 404 error page.
