How to Find out What WordPress Theme a Site is Using ?
WordPress is a free and open source blogging tool and a content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL which runs on a Web hosting service.Features include a plug-in architecture and a template system. WordPress is used by over 14.7% of Alexa Internet’s “top 1 million” websites.
Some WordPress theme are really looking amezing. suppose you want to create your own wordpress site and you want to use the theme that you see on the other site.
Today i am going to Show you How to Find out What WordPress Theme a Site is Using
Method 1 :- With View Page Source
Open your desired website and right-click on the page and select the option “View Page Source ” option.
now Press the Ctrl +F and write down theme then it will search for theme. Scroll down one by one. you will find the theme used in page. like in case this website is using Reboot theme. You can also find the Plugins information with the same way. Search for Plugins. it will show you Plugins used by website.
2. Use whatwpthemeisthat.com
Open http://whatwpthemeisthat.com/ and enter your website URL that you want to identify. it will show all information about particular wordPress website.
3. WPScan on KaliLinux :-
Go to the Application > KaliLinux > Web Applications > Web Vulnerablity Scanners > Select WPScan option.
enter the following command
root@RumyKali:~# ruby /user/bin/wpscan –url http://yourwebsite.com
it will show you Theme and wordPress version running on a website.
