What is DOS attack ?                                                                                                            

DoS stand for denial of  services. Main purpose of this attack is prevent the legitimate users to access the services.

Today i am going to Show you How easily you can do the DOS attack on the local connected windows 7 & Windows 8. My intention to Show this attack is How Unsecured is windows OS.

System Requirement :- 

Open your Backtrack OS

Go to Application > BackTrack > Stress Testing > Open Flood_Router6 (This tool will Fill the Local network with Router Advertisement)

then enter the command root@bt:~#flood_router6 -H eth0

Where eth0 is your Network Interface card. use Ifconfig command to find out your Interface name.

Result of Attack :- 

Before :-
