How to restore Windows Firewall after some malware deleted its service :-
Yesterday my friend Akmal Hakim asked me ” Why i can’t open it?? Windows Firewall “. This error comes most probably when PC is going affected with virus or visited any malware link that try to affect your system with disabling windows firewall services.
Today i am going to show you How you can solved this problem.
1. Scan with Antivirus :-
Actually this problem is indication off virus so your first step will scan you PC with Updated antivirus. In this condition i recommend to use VIPRE Rescue CD ( Download Now ) . You will find the Running instruction here http://www.vipreantivirus.com/live/ .

2. Run the Microsoft Fixit Utlity :-
Microsoft Fixit utility is really nice utility to solve the Windows problem. With Microsoft Fixit solution for Windows firewall you are able to solve the following problem.
- Windows Firewall is not the default firewall
- Windows Firewall does not start
- Windows could not start Windows Firewall. Service-specific error 5 (0x5)
- Remote Assistance is not working because it is blocked by Windows Firewall
- You cannot access shared files and printers because sharing is blocked by Windows Firewall
- BFE service is missing
- Firewall will not start Error Code 80070424
3. Run the Windows All in One repair Tool :-
I love this tool to solve the Windows common issues. Most of the time i am using this tool for my personal and personal use. Download and install Windows All in Repair tool and Run it and make sure you selected the option ” Repair Windows Firewall ”
and finally one the command prompt run the command sfc /scannow .
it will solve your Windows firewall service problem.
