Major differences between iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus

Although Apple has released newer versions of iPhone, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are still in demand. Many people don’t have an idea what is the difference between these two models, so, we decided to put together the major differences between iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in this article for those who’re confused whether to either Buy Used iPhone 7 or the iPhone 7 plus.

  • No Headphone Jack:

To many, it’s a disappointment that Apple hasn’t made any changes to the external design of both models of iPhones. And obviously, it makes them look a little bit outdated as compared to other smartphones with more radical designs such as the latest models of Samsung.

But, changes have been made in both models – some significant while others quite controversial.

Starting from the first one: none of these models have a headphone jack. Both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have a single lightning port. Because of this feature users are not able to charge their iPhone and listen to music at the same time.

However, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are the most durable iPhones produced by Apple ever.

  • Big Camera Upgrades:

One of the major difference between iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is in their optics. Previously, plus models of iPhone have upper hand in this area due to the addition of OIS, let see what Apple has to offer this time.

iPhone 7 has one 12-megapixel OIS rare camera, whereas, iPhone 7 Plus has two. One of these cameras has a wide-angle lens, while the other is a telephoto. You can either switch these two sensors or use both together to offer an optical-zoom effect.

iPhone 7 Plus has a better camera as compared to iPhone 7. For videos, both iPhones have same offers: 4K at 30fps; 1080p at 60 fps; and 720 at 240 fps.

  • More RAM and Speed Boots:

Both iPhones are powered by a new chip, the A10 Fusion. This is a big jump from 1,8 GHz to 2.4 GHz. It was, indeed, a much-wanted upgrade for iPhone users.

  • Display:

Another major difference between iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is the size of display screen. iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch display screen, whereas, iPhone 7 Plus has a 5.5-inch. Similarly, iPhone 7 offers 1334 x 750-pixel resolution, while iPhone 7 Plus has a full HD resolution of 326ppi and 401ppi.

Along with a Retina HD display, both iPhones have a 625cd/m2 maximum brightness, Display Zoom, the reachability function, and a fingerprint-resistant coating.

  • Battery Life:

The battery is another big difference between the two models. The battery life of Plus model is a bit better than that of iPhone 7, which you can hardly use for a whole day. This is yet another reason to pick iPhone 7 Plus over iPhone 7.

By going through some of the major difference between iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, you can clearly see who the winner is. Although the Plus is a bit expensive than the standard iPhone 7, it is worthwhile because of the superior camera, better screen, extended battery life, and greater RAM.
