 Once installed your system is immediately ready-to-use. On the desktop you have a full set of productivity, internet, drawing and graphics applications, and games.

Today I am going to explain you How to uninstall Linux Ubuntu (or other operating systems) from a dual boot windows PC, and still being able to boot into other OS without much work. 

Step 1 :- Delete Linux Partitions

1) Login to your Windows operating system
2) Goto Computer management (search in Startup)
3) In the Computer Management window select the Storage->Disk Management
4) All the hard drives in the computer will appear along with Ubuntu Linux drive. Windows drive will have either file system as NTFS or FAT32. But Linux drive will be unnamed.
5) Right click on Linux drive(s) and delete it.

Step 2 :- Restore MBR

Boot from windows CD/DVD and choose the repair computer option and select the command prompt option.

Step 3 :- Enter the following command

  • bootrec /fixmbr
  • bootrec /fixboot

Enjoy your windows computer again.
